I am new to this group but I read your message and I am going thought the EXACT same thing. My doctor (who by the way was rated one of the top doctors in the US in this field!) He said it would take me about a year for my balance to completely come back. I did notice that the more tired I am the more of a problem I have with my balance. And different lightings will also effect it. I have also noticed that walking down areas such as a store with an asial is harder for me as well. I am not sure why. But I am just going to wait out my year and pray that it gets 100% better. I also have trouble with headaces... but I am also on a depo lupron shot that will HOPEFULLY help us have a baby within the next year! I have my surger in May of 06 (just a few months ago)
