Hi Hannah-I am new to this site.. my husband was diagnosed 2 years ago with an an-at the time he was diagnosed his tumor was 5cm-6cm-they were surprised he was walking-he had symptoms like facial pain-loss of hearing on right side-falling going up the stairs-short term memory loss ect.. he did have a cat scan 4 years prior it did not show the tumor that is why we now only trust mri's. my husband shortly after(1 week) being diagnosed could not return to work we think because of the emotional stress. if you can be positive you can continue woking-with support from family friends and your work. as far as radiation or surgery that depends-do you want children(radiaton will damage your eggs) recovery from surgery-yet after it is gone. I'm sure by the date you entered this you have already decided and recieved treatment -wish you the best of luck....dee dee
